We've done almost 140 programs to date, but this one in particular was heavy on my heart as we recorded it and it also brought tears to my eyes as I listened to it again.

I'm saddened by what the church has made "Christianity" out to be and I'm saddened that I still sometimes propagate the problem myself! However, I'm growing and I think many others in the church are also waking up to the fact that the members of the body of Christ are not the world's police but rather the vessels through which He shows His love and grace.Joel Bruesekehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10395847887953875757noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4537325088305666113.post-71227760182114077342008-04-28T20:17:00.000-06:002008-04-28T20:17:00.000-06:00Oh Joel I just finished listening to your podcast!...Oh Joel I just finished listening to your podcast! I love it! You made complete sense. It is so easy to focus on the sinner than the sin! Its hard to seperate the two!

In Freedom, Nicole!Nicolehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00043902043758568457noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4537325088305666113.post-9302170310609542742008-04-28T19:45:00.000-06:002008-04-28T19:45:00.000-06:00Thanks Joel for the input! And so we shy away from those who have obvious outward sinful behavior instead of embracing them with the love of Jesus.

Like you say, it's easier to talk about all of this than it is to go out and love people, but it's good to encourage one another in it. :)Joel Bruesekehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10395847887953875757noreply@blogger.com
