On my way to Colorado from New Mexico I was able to listen to a book on audio. It is called “Redeeming Love”, by Francine Rivers. I read it several years ago and decided to take the time while I traveled to listen to a good story and let me tell you, this is a wonderful heart-throbbing story of how much Father loves us and what kind of lengths he will go to get our attention. It is beautifully written and drenched in Father’s love for us as his bride. I completely and absolutely recommend this book if anyone is looking for, not just a good read, but an awesome must read.

It's me again. I read Redeeming Love several years ago and really did enjoy it. I might try it again now that Father is teaching me so much about his love and grace. Thanks for recommending it.
I was talking to my daughter about it yesterday. Actually, I was sharing with her that the old movie Man of La Mancha is a wonderful analogy of Father’s love and redemption and I compared it to Redeeming Love. You might like that movie too. It’s a musical so it’s got some beautiful songs.

We're originally from Colorado, lived in Las Cruces for 5 years, and have a daughter living in each state. What are your connections to CO & NM?
We've made the drive up and down I-25 more times than I can count! And occasionally we've gone through Taos and the San Luis Valley just to have a change of scenery!

I went to the library to try to borrow their copy of "Redeeming Love" but it must have been out. Instead, I got "The Last Sin Eater." The description on the book jacket say "Francine Rivers draws readers into a captivatng tale of suffering, seeking and redemption."
I just started the book but it looks like it's going to be a book that describes how Jesus took our sins away at the cross and now has set us free. So far, I'm enjoying it.
Has anyone else read it?

Yes, we have connections in both states! My husband and I live close to Denver CO, and both of our families live in New Mexico! We travel back and forth quite frequently! The drive gets a little tiredsome on 1-25 but its a pretty straight and easy shot!
